Transitioning to digital dentistry? Submit your first digital case to us! Below are the instructions for the most common intraoral scanner systems and how to submit a case to Renaissance Lab RCA.
iTero
- Call iTero customer service at +1 (800) 577-8767 and provide them with the following information:
- Customers ID: 12678
- Renaissance Cosmetic Arts
- Phone: 604-980-0100
- Email: rcalabpictures@gmail.com
Trios
- Open https://portal.3shapecommunicate.com on your web browser.
- Login to your account
- Connection tab
- Add connection
- Place “rcalabpictures@gmail.com” in the box
- Click connect
- We must accept your request.
Carestream
- Visit Carestream Connect on your scanner.
- Search and add “Renaissance Cosmetic Arts”.
Medit Link
- Request a partnership with “Renaissance Cosmetic Arts” and ensure the location is Vancouver, Canada not in Calgary.
Dentsply Sirona
- Create or log in to your CEREC Connect account.
- Click on My Favorite Laboratories.
- Search for Renaissance Cosmetic Arts and click ‘Find’.
- Click ‘Add’ and Renaissance Lab RCA will be saved as a favorite.
Shining 3d
- Sign into the Dental Cloud. Enter the “Connections” tab on the left of the Dental Cloud portal.
- Click the “new” button in the upper right corner and fill in the name of the clinic in the upper field. Then click the “search” button on the right and select the desired clinic with which you want to perform the action.
- Repeat the procedure above to fill and select the right lab.
- Click “submit” to send the request to the target lab.
3M
- Call 3M Customer Service at 1 (800) 364-6577 to add Renaissance Cosmetic Arts.
If your scanner is not listed above, please either call 604-980-0100 or Contact Renaissance’s Customer Service Team.
Renaissance Lab offers local case pickups and covers shipping costs for out-of-town doctors across Canada.
Schedule a Pickup:
- Carefully package your models and prescription form in a shipping box.
- Contact Customer Service at 604-980-0100 or log in to your Customer Portal to schedule a pickup.

For all anterior cases, it is essential to include pre-op impressions to ensure symmetrical results. Pre-op impressions involve taking initial molds of the patient’s teeth before any dental work begins, capturing the original shape and alignment. This step is crucial for providing a reference point for the dentist.
Other files:
Following this, a large master impression is taken after initial preparations, such as reshaping or preparing teeth for veneers or crowns. This detailed and comprehensive mold ensures that the final restorations fit perfectly and are symmetrical, accurately matching the natural contours and bite of the patient’s mouth.
